What is KidsWrite4Kids.com?

kidswrite4kids.com is a safe, FREE place for you to hang out if you like writing and are 14 and younger. You can take your time and read the stories, poems, and non-fiction members (kids just like you) have published.

And you can ask a parent or guardian to go online with you and help you become a member, too.  It‘s easy and it‘s free.  If you do, you will be ready to begin publishing your own writing in one of the rooms of The Word Castle for the rest of the world to read.

Tell your teachers about kidswrite4kids.com, too, and suggest they check out  writerswing.com, my blog for parents and teachers.

I want all the members of kidswrite4kids.com to become better and better and more and more enthusiastic writers.

Here’s a little about who I am:  I grew up on farms in Pennsylvania, but I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, now.  I have published many stories in magazines, have written a book of poems for kids (with my own goofy cartoons), and have been visiting schools to teach reading and writing skills and tell stories for over twenty years. I also taught college writing for 22 years.  If you want to know more, just click on my Bio and Note to Parents page.
